Back in 1997 a small group of friends had a dream... that they would become a gleaming beacon of light that would allow them to better challenge the darkness that shrouded the worlds in which they walked. This light was born out of the hearts and souls of the like-minded adventurers that gathered around them.

But enough about those losers! Our dream back in 1997 was to surround ourselves with a bunch of muppets, tool up, and then go out and give this darkness geezer a right royal kicking!

Just like a large chocolate chip muffin that has been left in the cupboard for too long, our guild has evolved over the years too. We started out originally in Ultima Online as Daughters of the New Sun, in reference to the Book of the New Sun series by Gene Wolfe. Yeah I have no idea why either, especially as none of us were daughters or indeed female. Fortunately a few years later when EverQuest ushered in a new wave of MMORPG loveliness, we had a chance to rectify this and dump that Daughters bit and change it to Children. In Aion however, we can not use CotNS as it is far to long and scares timid Sprigs - so after much cheesing we decided to use the Muppeteers. It's like the Musketeers, but furrier and sillier.

Now whether you are an old guildie or some noob looking to join our muptastic band, you will need to pay close attention to the words that follow. All the words are equally important, even the small and seemingly misspelt ones (we use the Queen's English here m'laddy) - so rinse out those lugholes and pay attention!
